Dr. Newal Chaudhary is an Asst. Dean, Faculty of Law, at Dean's office, Tribhuvan University Balkhu, Kathmandu. He has completed Ph.D. Degree in Commercial Law, specialization in Foreign Direct Investment, and LL.M. in Commercial law and Environmental law, and M.A. in Maithili and political science. He was serving as an Assistant Professor of Law, at Nepal Law Campus, Faculty of Law, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu before the appointment of Assistant Dean. Furthermore, He is also serving as a Chairperson of Environmental Law Subject committee of the Faculty of Law, and Member of Ph.D. Research Committee at Faculty of Law, T.U. He has long experience of teaching environmental law, law of contracts, company and corporation law, taxation law, criminal law, evidence law, and moot court at Nepal Law Campus Faculty of law T.U. Dr. Chaudhary has published various books relating to law and justice such as The Art of Cyber Law & Cyber Crime, Commercial Law: with special reference to FDI in Nepal, Legal Method, Legal Environment for Business in Nepal" and Comparative Criminal Law, Cases & Materials. In addition to this, he has published various articles in national and international legal research journals on contemporary legal issues. Dr. Chaudhary has been decorated from Nepal Biddha Bhusan “K” by the president of Nepal. Dr. Chaudhary has also obtained the Best Book Writer Award from Nepal Bar Council for Fiscal Year 2080/081 in his book named Commercial Law: with special reference to FDI in Nepal, on the occasion of the 31st Annual Day of the Nepal Bar Council.
